Marc Chagall Remembered

The Art Gallery of Ontario invited members to a sneak preview of Marc Chagall and a few other notable abstract post-impressionist painters of the same era. Last Sunday and Monday were devoted to this wonderful opportunity to be reminded of why these masters remain so relevant and popular.
Chagall's celebration of life, passion and whimsy is well documented with his signature inclusion of floating people and animals. His dramatic sense of colour is what I loved when I saw this wonderful exhibition. Try not to miss this one if you live in the Toronto area.

  1. I'm not a big fan of this style of art, but I agree that the colours are beautiful!!! xo

  2. Marc Chagall has always been one of my favorite artists. He has a wonderful life story too. I really wanted to see his works in the South of France but we didn't make it there. Just not enough time to do everything we wanted to do... but hopefully next time. Hope you're having a great weekend.
