Thoughtful Thursday

I made a special point of remembering to watch a rerun of Dr. Oz yesterday when I learned that Deepak Chopra would be his guest. The teaser promised that the famous doctor/guru would reveal his latest theories to help reverse the aging process. Got my attention in a hurry!
As an early adaptor to Chopra's many messages over the past 20 years, I'm particularly drawn to his brand of science/spirituality. Whether talking about quantum physics or love, he makes sense out of life's biggest questions.
Yesterday's message talked about the bio-chemistry of stress and the neuro science behind meditation. He's convinced that a daily practice of just 5 - 10 minutes a day can do everything from help you lose weight to increasing your longevity. Again.... I'm in! My goal is to share his guided visualization with you over the course of a few posts. To be continued..... thanks for checking in today. Tomorrow we will meditate together.  Namaste.


  1. I'm a fan of mr. Chopras..but never follow his advise for long. Life get crazy and I don't keep up on his life plan. You asked me how old the town of Harmony is...from my photo shoot. It was founded in 1804 by a obscure German religious sect. A lot of stories about them..strict, seperated men and women..castration..not sure what is true but their attention getting stories.

  2. meditation provides me with a little balance throughout the day; even 5 minutes can calm me down quickly. I usually practice it in between tasks; yes, I need to schedule it in; odd but, it works for me; always in need of a guide.....xoxo
