Royal Friday

I'm sure whomever was responsible for this impressive sand sculpture on Vanderbilt Beach in Southwest Florida, will be busy today commemorating the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in London's Westminster Abbey. The coverage has been plentiful and non-stop all week. My favourite comments so far have some from the so-called commoners who actually received invitations to attend. This list of attendees  has included dressmakers, pub owners and even a few street people. Those who gave interviews after the ceremony have all agreed that the atmosphere was casual and relaxed in the beautifully decorated Abbey. Notwithstanding a plethora of morning suits and fascinators, everyone was mingling comfortably before being seated for the arrival of the Bride.  Wishing them the happiest ever-after ever!

  1. I am looking forward to a glass of wine, a nice dinner and the viewing of the royal wedding which I recorded this very early morning. We will see if the men of the house are up for the event, however, whatever the turnout, Olivia and I will be "shoddying" the big screen!!!!!! Nice chatting with you today as always. xoxoxoxo

  2. I tuned into the wedding just to look at the hats!
