What's in the cards?

On this beautiful silent Sunday in Bonita Springs, I spread out two decks of 'oracle' cards. In advance of randomly selecting my cards, I contemplated the busy week that had passed, and the one that was ahead so that I could guide myself to the most appropriate message for the day.

From Cheryl Richardson's Grace Cards, I chose the 'QUIET' card: Turn off the noise. Silence nourishes the body, mind, and spirit.

From Sonia Choquette's Trust Your Vibes set, I drew 'CLEAR THE PATH.'

When I return from my silent retreat, I will tell you all about my three day "Collage Discovery Intensive" with Claudine Hellmuth.

  1. Quiet sounds like heaven right now. Two kids are playing Chicken Blaster on the Wii....turn that noise off is going through my head. As we are closing in on ending the month and winter ( I hope) quiet and clear the path are good ideas to think upon.
Next weekend is the Lady Gaga concert. It seemed like such a good idea buying the tickets back in Sept. now I'm worn a bit thin by cold weather and darkness. clearing my head out might get me ready for the concert. My friends will not be happy if I'm a party pooper.
I'm in charge of costumes...I got nothing...well i do have a brand new roll of kitchen plastic wrap.....
heres to clearing th path! nice post
    Have a great day!

  2. Just looking ahead at my day planner and reflecting on how to make the coming week a little more quiet. Isn't it true that we crave the balance of loud and quiet; busy and calm: movement and stillness? General balance in all areas is a gift. I would love to experience Lady Gaga in person, but would need some alone time in the days to follow!!!! Have a great week ladies. xoxo

Thanks so much taking time to stop by. Your comments are always appreciated. Namaste.
